We recently bought a new SKODA Kodiaq fitted with Continental ContiSport Contact 5s. So far we have only done 1,500 kms but they have been wonderful. Great grip and handling in the wet and dry. Only had one fast stop but they handled it superbly. With a young family on board, safety and handling and hugely important so they get great reviews from my family and I. They give me confidence when I am out on the road and would definitely recommend them! Thanks Tim

I choose this tyre as a package for upgrading my wheels and tyre package.  It is a bit expensive, and I was aware of some review of other users that it doesn't last long as treadwear is the only compromise. However, I lasted to do 62,000 KMS. And I'm due for another set of tyres. I regularly rotate these tyres every 10,000 km and had wheel alignment to go with it. I know its an overkill, but it paid off. 62Ks? I was surprised. I am shopping around for the same tyres with a bit of a good deal on the price. My experience with these tyres are nothing but excellent, confident to drive on high speed, dry or wet conditions. Excellent grip in corners and very stable high-speed driving, steering is superb and I can really compare it to the OEM tyres provided.  The only downside is the softness of the tyre, it really attributed to it's handling, traction or grip-ability of this tyre. I mainly drive in the highway for long drives and city driving. Driven in a gravel road with no issues, no tyre pressure issues or whatsoever. I will recommend this who wanted comfortable, inspire confidence driving on high speed and steering response. This tyre is an absolute partner for safety, and confident driving.

These are the OE tyres that came with the Tiguan 162 R-Line. Found they are sensitive to tyre pressures and it took some playing around before I found a setting that suited my driving.(incidentally, recommended pressure was very close) The car handled very surefootedly for an SUV and I'm sure the Contis contributed to this. certainly on dry road conditions. I did not push very hard in the wet but was comfortable driving to the conditions in the wet. Road noise is sensitive to road surface conditions perhaps because it is fairly wide and low profile but certainly less than the Conti SC5 on my S3 sedan. At the price, I would compare them to the Michelin PS4s when it comes to replace them.

These are the OE tyres and they haven't lasted long at all. I'm now on the hunt to replace the front two. Handling is awesome, and quiet on all city and highway roads. Handles bumps smoothly and only feel it slightly when I go over a pothole. Great tyre, but pity about the short lifespan.

Nice ride and grip but wear out very fast. These tyres came with the new car as standard. I will not buy them as a choice.  Only had the car for 20 months and done 29000kms but told at last service that all 4 tyres are worn out. Mainly local driving with few highway drives and rotated and aligned regularly.

Quite good tyres, extremely soft compound causing the tyes to wear quickly. I think most suited to European roads not Australian roads. Good grip , good handling and quiet.

Drive mostly between Newcastle and Sydney 2 times a week, average 30k a year, These tyres are very good on the Jag for high speed cornering in wet or dry, good feedback from tyres before it gets anywhere near losing traction.   I'm at the 62k mark now and even though tread is on the limit it still handles very well in dry but wet traction is good with normal driving but poor if pushing it. Overall, i have been happy with this tyre, Would i buy again, Yes..

These Continental run flat tyres come standard on the BMW X3. They are a great performing tyre, in dry or wet conditions, on the highway or under hard acceleration. They are long-wearing, however due to the nature of being run flats, whenever you get a puncture in them they cannot be fixed, which makes it a nightmare when you have only just replaced one and get a piece of steel in one! They are a little sluggish compared to non-run flats however perform their given job with flying colours. Would recommend them for dedicated run flat vehicles.
