The old tyres needed replacing, these were a good general purpose mid price range choice. so far no issues just don’t seem as precise sometimes on winding coastal roads as I would like.

Actually KUMHO SOLUS KL21 I am very happy with these as they have met all the criterion you would like in a tyre and would consider them again, but also look at others which were similar and had good reviews.

Those tyres came on the car so I couldn’t really decide if I want them or not. Having said this as we drive to work on a highway they are actually an alright tyre, they’re quiet and performed alright when I had to come to a rapid stop. Going camping a lot and most of the access roads are gravel it came to it’s limits, airing down to make the ride comfort a bit better is a must but you can’t got far down in pressure as they do bag out a lot, I believe due to the weak sidewall. As soon as it gets a bit muddy this tyre gets super useless, compared to my Yokohama ats I had on my previous car they are rubbish as soon as you go off the road. One thing to mention as well is when it gets wet the car try’s to break out in the back, so you have to be really conscious when you enter a roundabout.

These tyres were fitted new to the vehicle when I purchased it. The tread pattern is not suited for offroad use but for a purely highway/city/gravel touring tyre on my Discovery4 I find them difficult to fault. Price would be the deciding factor for me in this instance.

We bought these tyres as they were cheaper than my previous set. Feel rough on the road and do create a bit more noise.

These Kuhmos were the original tyres on the car from new & I've racked up 176,000kms before needing to replace them. In the dry and the wet they're as sure-footed as a mountasin goat. The only down side is they get a little noisy over 100km/hr, but just turn up the stero & then no problem. When replacing the tyres I insisted the  exact same tyres can only be used. Best tyres I've ever had.
